Dan Connell is a highly experienced software engineer currently serving as the Lead Founding Software Engineer at Guardrail since February 2025. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a Staff Software Developer at Hypotenuse Labs from October 2021 to February 2025 and held the position of Principal Software Developer at Bidvine from March 2015 to September 2021. Dan's career commenced with a Software Developer role at Libro Credit Union, followed by a co-op position at Research In Motion in 2012. Dan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, complemented by leadership training at Communitech Academy from 2019 to 2020.
