Andreas Sterbenz is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in technology and product development. Currently at Instacart since February 2019, Andreas focuses on scaling platform capabilities to support a broader user base. Prior experience includes a tenure at Google from March 2008 to February 2019 as a Senior Staff Engineer, where Andreas led and managed teams developing new Google Cloud AI products, expanding team size significantly. Andreas also contributed to Sun Microsystems from July 2001 to March 2008 as a Staff Engineer on the Java SE security and libraries team, and worked at IAIK as an R&D Engineer from July 1996 to June 2001. Andreas holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Telematik) from Technische Universität Graz.
