Bryan Koontz

Bryan Koontz is a visionary and natural inventor with nearly 20 years of experience taking new software and Internet solutions to market. As CEO of CBANC and founder/CEO of Guidefitter, he has his hands in every part of the business, including serving on the Board of Directors for both companies. On a daily basis, you will find him maintaining the companies' overall operations, strategic direction and product advancements.

Before joining CBANC in 2013, Bryan served as VP and General Manager at Vast.com, Inc., a web search and analytics company powering consumer Internet search solutions for Fortune 500 companies such as Yahoo, AOL, Southwest Airlines and USAA. His experience also includes holding executive roles at Tripos, Inc.(SVP, Discovery Informatics - sold to Vector Capital) and Optive Research (Co-Founder, CEO - sold to Tripos, Inc.), both life sciences software companies, and Trilogy Software (technical presales/business development).

Bryan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics with Honors from Penn State University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In his free time, Bryan enjoys hunting, fly fishing, spending time outdoors with his Labrador Retriever and playing the guitar.
