Gene Nogi

Gene leads Guidepost’s investing efforts in infrastructure software and tech-enabled services in addition to working within application software.

Previously, Gene was a General Partner with Symmetric Capital, a Boston-based growth equity firm. He began his investing career at Summit Partners, where he also focused on software and tech-enabled services.

Gene earned a B.A. cum laude in Economics from Amherst College, where he was a member of the varsity football and lacrosse teams. He also received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School. He remains active at both schools and his high school, Choate Rosemary Hall.

A Scranton, Pennsylvania native, Gene and his wife, daughter, and two sons now live less than a mile from The Green Monster.
