Edmund Harriss has been working at Guinness Global Investors since 2003, currently holding the position of Director & Chief Investment Officer with direct portfolio responsibilities in Asia & Emerging Markets. Prior to this, Edmund worked at Guinness Flight/Investec from July 1993 to March 2003 as a Portfolio Manager, initially as an Analyst of Asian Equities based in London and later as a Portfolio Manager for China & Hong Kong portfolios based in Hong Kong. Harriss pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Business Administration and Management at the University of Oxford from 1989 to 1991, following a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History at the University of York from 1986 to 1989.
