Michael Gilland

Michael Gilland is an accomplished music instructor and multi-talented musician with extensive experience in various roles within the music industry. Currently serving as a Music Instructor at The Guitar Center Company since October 2019, Gilland has also owned and operated 77th Street Music since May 2016, where responsibilities encompass producing, composing, and working as a studio musician. Additional roles include producing and composing for the multi-genre band Nuada's Mana, freelancing through Dragonbreath Airwaves, and songwriting with Broadcast Music, Inc. Gilland has a strong background in music education, having taught at the School of Rock - West Broward and ASM Music Schools Inc. Moreover, professional expertise extends to audio engineering, sound design, and music theory instruction. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati and attendance at both Berklee College of Music and the School for Creative & Performing Arts, highlighting a lifelong commitment to music and education.
