Jon Thaxton is currently the Director of Community Investment at Gulf Coast Community Foundation since October 2012. Prior to that, Jon served as a Sarasota County Commissioner at Sarasota County Government from 2000 to 2012. Jon completed their education at Venice High School from 1973 to 1975.
