Timothy Petrella

Timothy Petrella is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in stress analysis and finite element modeling. At Gulfstream Aerospace since May 2021, Timothy has progressed from Completions Stress Engineer to Completions Stress Lead for the G700 project. Prior to this, Timothy worked at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, contributing as a Research & Development Engineer and Finite Element Analyst, where significant advancements in rolling resistance technology, composite material characterizations, and tire design insights were achieved through leadership in global research initiatives and the development of innovative software solutions. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by various co-op roles that focused on engineering efficiency and modeling software improvement.
