Daniel Jonker started their work experience as an Intern at Allied Press Limited, where they worked with Python, VB.net, and MySQL from 2011 to 2012. Daniel then joined Datacom as a Software Engineer in 2013, where they worked on web app development using Ruby on Rails and Java. Daniel was also seconded to the Ministry of Social Development, where they worked on projects using Java and Spring MVC. Daniel then joined Sky in 2015 as a Mobile Developer, specifically for the Sky Kids squad, where they improved the codebase structure and added new features. In 2021, they joined Doctor Care Anywhere as a Senior Android Developer, leading a project and focusing on feature development, architecture, and codebase improvement. Currently, Daniel is working as a Senior Android Developer at Gumtree.com.
From 2009 to 2012, Daniel Jonker attended the University of Otago, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (BCom hons) in Information Science.
