Richard Nguyen

Richard Nguyen is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across the tech industry. Currently employed at Gusto since May 2019, Richard focuses on simplifying business tasks to enhance work-life empowerment. Prior to Gusto, Richard served as a founding engineer at Oberon Global, where responsibilities included investor onboarding for fundraising. Experience also includes software engineering positions at Medisas, One Medical Group, and Apple Inc., where Richard developed mobile and backend applications as well as improved quality assurance processes for Xcode. Richard co-founded Commit, a fitness tracker app, and began a career as a research assistant under Professor Carlo Sequin. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2011.
