Salman Bawani

Salman Bawani is a Process Engineer at G&W Electric Co., specializing in the epoxy overmolding process since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Plastics and Adhesives Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. from April 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing specifications and investigating failure root causes. Earlier roles include an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Computational Materials Lab at UT Austin and a Research Mentor with the UT Austin Freshman Research Initiative. Salman also completed a Business Development Internship at Discount Power Texas in 2018. Salman Bawani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 2021, and graduated from Elkins High School in 2017.
