Megan Waide is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in driving brand messaging, engagement, and loyalty strategies across diverse sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing and Experience at GWS GIANTS since October 2022, Megan previously held various marketing roles at Taronga Conservation Society Australia from May 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing admissions marketing campaigns and member engagement strategies. Prior to this, Megan worked as Loyalty Manager at West HQ, focusing on member onboarding and retention, and held several positions in marketing and operations at Novotel Sydney West HQ and Accor. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Business in Tourism Management, Marketing, and Public Relations from Swinburne University of Technology.

The GIANTS are on an exciting journey both on and off the field. With teams in the AFL, AFL Women’s and Super Netball competitions, the GIANTS truly are a club like no other. On field, the AFL team is growing into one of the competition’s most exciting teams with a number of star players becoming household names across the country. The AFL Women’s team and GIANTS Netball are seeing the club connect with more people than ever before. Off field, the club’s exciting, innovative and fresh brand is growing as it engages with members, fans, the community and key stakeholders across Western Sydney, Canberra and nationally. The GIANTS’ AFL and AFL Women’s teams are based at the club’s elite training and administration facility in Sydney Olympic Park, GIANTS HQ, with GIANTS Netball based adjacent at Netball Central.
