Michael Wahl

Michael Wahl is an experienced safety and health professional with a comprehensive background in the logistics and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Safety and Health for North America at GXO Logistics, Inc. since August 2021, Michael leads a team of EHS experts to enhance safety principles and ensure regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes similar roles at XPO Logistics, Inc., where efforts focused on supply chain safety for North American clients, and Toys"R"Us, overseeing environmental health and safety for global operations. Michael's extensive career also includes pivotal positions at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and May Department Stores, where responsibilities ranged from store management to developing organizational safety initiatives. Michael holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
