Pamela W. Barnes

Ms. Barnes is a leading voice in the international movement for sexual and reproductive health and rights and has over 30 years of management experience in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. From 2010 to 2015, she served as President and CEO of EngenderHealth, an international non-profit organization supporting delivery of sexual and reproductive health services with over 600 employees. Prior to holding this position, she was CEO and President of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. From 2009-2011 Barnes was a member of the UN agency and CDC working group on sexual violence against girls. Before entering the non-project sector, she worked for over 20 years in investment management and corporate finance. Barnes is a former Peace Corps volunteer. She is Vice Chair of the Board of IPPFWHR and Chair of their Finance and Audit Committee. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Ipas. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Fordham University.
