Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity Lake County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Habitat for Humanity Lake County, is an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and an affiliate of Habitat International. Habitat for Humanity Lake County was established in 1989 to provide decent, safe & affordable homes for sale to low-income families. Since 1989 we served over 200 families, providing permanent housing for almost 900 people. Through our tithe to HFH International we served 270 families, over 1440 individuals, in the Philippines providing funding for decent, safe & affordable shelter. We fund our efforts through the generosity of corporations and individuals who donate their time, talent and their treasure. The Habitat ReStore accepts new and used building materials, non-upholstered furniture, newer appliances and more, and sells them to the public at low prices.
