Gregory Scott

Gregory Scott is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Hach since April 2023. Previously, Gregory held various positions at Ethicon, Inc. from February 2015 to March 2023, including Staff Design Engineer focused on the development of endoscopic surgical stapling platforms, and Senior Design Engineer responsible for quality improvements in core ligation products. Earlier in Gregory's career, roles included Primary Design Engineer and Associate Design Engineer, working on surgical stapling technologies and design changes in medical products. Gregory volunteered at the University of Utah Developmental Head Injury Biomechanics Lab from August 2012 to January 2015, contributing to medical device designs and conducting significant research in head injuries. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University.
