Graham Darcey is a seasoned software engineer and creative technologist with extensive experience in developing and implementing complex software solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Creative Technologist at Hack Club since February 2023, Graham previously held multiple senior roles at Uber from June 2016 to December 2020, including contributions to AI, maps routing, and maps automation. At Verizon, Graham was the lead developer for key features of the mobile internet video product "go90," and also served as Principal Software Engineer at Screaming Velocity, Inc., focusing on cloud-based video recommendations. Graham's earlier career included critical roles at Gravity Mobile and Rocket Mobile, where significant contributions were made to streaming music applications and SMS messaging clients, respectively.

Founded in 2015 by a 16 year old, we're building the largest community of teenagers around the world who are learning technology by building things they care about and sharing with other people. We serve ~25,000 teenagers in 30+ countries every year. Here, high school coders make friends, build together, and get inspiration; we try and create the most incredible learning community, tools, and services to support them to go far technically, and also grow personally with positive values. We do this by creating open-source projects which serve the community like a transparent “bank” for nonprofits, a game console you can only get by building a game for it, a guide to assembly language, a cross-country hackathon on a train. We also support and grows our community by facilitating wholesome social spaces online and in-person.
