Faiz Bhora

Faiz Y. Bhora, MD, FACS, currently serves as the Regional Chair of Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health and as the Chief Executive Officer of NuHealthPartners. With extensive experience in thoracic surgery, Bhora has held significant positions including Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Nuvance Health and at Mount Sinai Health System, where responsibilities included directing thoracic surgical oncology and robotic surgery. Bhora is also the President of the New York General Thoracic Surgical Club and has served as Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program at Health Quest Health System. Academic roles include Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at multiple Mount Sinai campuses. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Aga Khan University, a general surgery program at The George Washington University, and additional training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
