Abigail Burland is an experienced youth leader and facilitator with a strong background in community programs aimed at empowering young people. Currently serving as a Youth Leader at Hackney CVS since March 2018, Abigail organizes and participates in initiatives for individuals aged 11-25, focusing on confidence building and life skills development. Additionally, Abigail contributes as a 'Together' Facilitator at Immediate Theatre and works as a SEN Play Worker for Be Heard As One, funded by The London Borough of Newham. Hackney CVS (Council for Voluntary Service) is the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Hackney. Hackney CVS supports organisations and communities to work together to tackle inequalities and find solutions to entrenched social problems. Hackney CVS provides advice and training and also acts as a bridge between the public sector and local community groups.
