Hackney CVS
Caleeb Hughes is an experienced youth leader currently working at Hackney CVS since November 2021, where involvement in the 'Young Black Men Inspirational Leaders' programme focuses on organizing and facilitating community projects for young individuals aged 11 to 25, promoting confidence and life skills. Caleeb serves as an assistant chef at Klose & Soan and a youth justice leader at Account Hackney, both positions held since March 2022 and November 2021, respectively. Previous experience includes a role as a sales advisor at BT in 2017. Hackney CVS (Council for Voluntary Service) is the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Hackney. Hackney CVS supports organisations and communities to work together to tackle inequalities and find solutions to entrenched social problems. Hackney CVS provides advice and training and also acts as a bridge between the public sector and local community groups.
