Sara Barman

Trustee at Hackney CVS

Sara is communications lead for a UBS program that supports social entrepreneurs by scaling their messaging and connecting them with clients. She is also on the board of the bank’s gender equality network, All Bar None, where she has overhauled digital communications.

Before moving to the private sector, Sara was a BBC journalist, producer and presenter for many years, across radio, TV and online. Her work ranged from covering high-profile murder cases for 1Xtra to being plaster cast for a museum’s mannequin for local radio.
