Mayur Kumbhani

Mayur Kumbhani is a Principal Material Scientist at Haemonetics since September 2023, with a distinguished career in materials engineering and research. From August 2013 to September 2023, Mayur served as Research and Development Manager at Modern Dispersions, and held the position of President of the Society of Plastics Engineers - Eastern New England Section from December 2019 to June 2022. Mayur's academic background includes a PhD and an MS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, alongside an MS in Textile Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Before entering industry, Mayur contributed to significant research projects as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and UMass Dartmouth, focusing on thermomechanical property analysis and advanced textile engineering applications.
