Karin Chung

Karin Chung is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and recruitment. Currently serving as a Senior Recruiter and Internship Coordinator at Hagerty since February 2015, Karin previously held roles as a Recruiter and Internship Coordinator within the same organization. Prior to this, Karin worked as a Cook's Assistant at Traverse City Area Public Schools from January 2009 to January 2015 and as a 5th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Cranbrook Educational Community for a brief period in 2002. Karin's teaching career began at Detroit Public Schools, where responsibilities included serving as a 7th/8th Grade/DAPCEP Science Teacher from September 1992 to June 1997. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Special Education with a focus on Early Childhood Reading and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Music, and Education, both obtained from the University of Michigan.
