Richard Smith is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Chairman of both Hakim Group and Avicenna since 2021 and 2017, respectively, Richard has previously held the position of Executive Chairman at Rodericks Dental (2015-2022) and Chairman Of The Board at Affidea (2014-2020). Richard was the CEO of IDH Group from 2010 to 2013 and the Managing Director of Lloydspharmacy from 2005 to 2010, overseeing operations in the UK. Additionally, Richard spent nearly three decades at Somerfield in various senior positions. Educationally, Richard attended King Edwards Grammar School Chelmsford from 1969 to 1975.
