Cody Byrd, GISP, CFM has a diverse work experience. Cody started their career in 2017 as an Assistant to the F&I Director at Sport City Toyota, where they worked until 2018. In 2019, they worked as a GIS Intern at Texas Natural Resources Information System. Their responsibilities included scanning and georeferencing aerial imagery of Texas, as well as maintaining the physical archive of imagery. Currently, they are working as a GIS Analyst at Halff Associates, a position they have held since 2020.
Cody Byrd, GISP, CFM pursued their education at the University of Texas at Austin - College of Liberal Arts, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, they also engaged in a study abroad program at Swansea University, further expanding their knowledge in the field of Geography. In addition to their academic achievements, Cody has earned two significant certifications. In July 2023, they became a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) through the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI). Furthermore, in May 2021, they obtained the Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification from the Association of State Floodplain Managers, Inc. (ASFPM). These certifications illustrate their commitment to professional growth and expertise in their field.
