Trent Nichols has worked at Halff Associates as a Water Resources Engineer since July 2020. Trent is responsible for various tasks related to hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, report editing, and figure creation using ArcGIS and HEC software. Prior to their role as an engineer, Trent worked as an intern at Halff Associates from June 2019 to August 2019. During their internship, they gained experience in ArcGIS, HEC software, and field reconnaissance while working on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects for public and private clients. Trent also had the opportunity to interact with clients and assist with a variety of other tasks.
Trent Nichols, CFM is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Trent is expected to graduate in May 2020.
