Manager, Governance & Risk - Executive Assistant To CEO at Halifax Public Libraries

Alison Lucio has extensive experience in high-level administrative roles, currently serving as Manager of Governance & Risk and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Halifax Public Libraries since April 2016. In this position, Alison functions as the primary contact for the office of the CEO and Chief Librarian, overseeing the coordination of activities for the Halifax Regional Library Board and its committees. Prior to this, Alison held multiple positions at IWK Health Centre from January 2007 to April 2016, including Executive Assistant to the President & CEO and Coordinator for the Board of Directors. Alison began their career as an Executive Assistant to the Department Head at Dalhousie University from May 2002 to January 2007. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and English from Dalhousie University.
