Colin McHattie

Colin McHattie is an accomplished professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Technical Assessment for New Ventures Unconventional and Mature Fields at Halliburton, where responsibilities include worldwide screening and due diligence of investment and partnership opportunities. Previously, Colin worked as an Independent Energy Consultant at ADI Analytics LLC, and held various key positions at ConocoPhillips, including Asset Manager for the North Caspian Sea Kashagan Field, where management of an 8.4% investment interest was a significant focus. Colin also contributed to technological assessments in Gas-to-Liquids and served as Business Development Director in Qatar for an $8 billion LNG project. Early in Colin’s career at Phillips Petroleum Company, extensive work on coal bed methane opportunities and new asset acquisition strategies for the Middle East was performed. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from The University of Western Australia.
