Savina Cammalleri

Savina Cammalleri is currently serving as a Fuel Bar Employee at Barry's since March 2023 and has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research since May 2021, where research focuses on identifying novel nematicides and optimizing small molecule screening protocols. Additionally, Savina is a Senior Transition Mentor at the University of Toronto - Victoria University, engaging in orientation and support for incoming students. Prior tutoring roles include positions at Monarque Tutoring, Forest Hill Tutoring, and Prep Academy Tutors, where assistance was provided in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Savina has also conducted research at the University of Glasgow, investigating viral encephalitis, and at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning. Savina is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, expected to complete studies in June 2028, following a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of Toronto - Victoria University.
