Nhora Lucia Serrano has a diverse work history, starting as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Hamilton College in 2015. Nhora Lucia then worked as a Mellon University Press Diversity Fellow at The MIT Press before returning to Hamilton College as an Associate Director of Digital Innovation, Learning & Research. Nhora Lucia has also been a Judge for the Eisner Awards at Comic-Con International and a Visiting Scholar of Comparative Literature at Harvard University. Additionally, they participated as a Fellow at the EDUCAUSE Leading Change Institute in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Learning and Research Services at Hamilton College.

Nhora Lucia Serrano holds a PhD in Medieval and Renaissance Studies (Visual Studies) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nhora Lucia also has a Master of Arts in French Language & Civilization (Art History) from New York University, a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from Amherst College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in diversity, inclusion, leadership, and neurodiversity from different institutions.
