Shaun Herron

Shaun Herron is an experienced journalist and editor with a comprehensive background in the media industry. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at the Metroland Copy Editing Centre since November 2016, Shaun oversees local copy editing and proofreading for The Hamilton Spectator, The Waterloo Region Record, and a chain of community newspapers. Prior to this role, Shaun accumulated extensive experience at The Hamilton Spectator from April 1988 to November 2016, holding positions such as reporter, copy editor, assignment editor, production editor, news editor, photo editor, and web editor. Shaun holds an Honours BA in Political Science from Trent University, completed between 1976 and 1980, and attended St. John's Ravenscourt from 1970 to 1976.
