Janel Lyons

Janel Lyons is a seasoned marketing and public relations professional with extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President and Senior Marketing Manager at Hancock Whitney since May 2017, Janel focuses on earned media initiatives and maintains a positive public image for the company. Previous roles include Social Media/Digital Marketing at POOLCORP, where Janel created engaging content, and Television Producer/Director at Cox Communications, where Janel produced significant community relations programs. Janel also held the position of Media Production Specialist at the University of New Orleans, overseeing various media projects. Janel holds a BA in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of New Orleans, along with an earlier BA in Radio/TV/Film from The University of Southern Mississippi.
