Handelsbanken has nationwide branch networks in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway and the Netherlands. We see these six countries as our home markets. Handelsbanken was founded in 1871 and today has just over 12,000 employees, of which 40 percent are employed outside Sweden. In 2020, 41 percent of all managers were women.
