Rupa Parameswaran is a seasoned security and IT professional with extensive experience in leading security initiatives across various organizations. Currently, Rupa serves as the Vice President of Security & IT at Handshake since December 2022. Prior to this role, Rupa was the Head of Security at Amplitude, where significant contributions included building the engineering security program and developing the incident response program. Rupa has also held key security positions at Demandbase as Security Architect and CISO, Pinterest as Security & Privacy Architect, and Microsoft in roles focused on privacy and security. Rupa holds a PhD and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from RVCE.
