Matthew Fratkin is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in research and development, and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at Hanna Instruments since April 2021, Matthew provides strategic leadership and drives agile transformation by implementing Scrum and scaling Agile methodologies. Prior roles at Spectro Scientific included Director of Engineering and various management positions where Matthew spearheaded complex engineering initiatives and facilitated Agile practices across distributed teams. Earlier experience includes a Principal Electrical Engineer role at QinetiQ North America, focused on program management and technical leadership in complex systems. Matthew holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
