Daehyun K.

Daehyun K. is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Electricity Trading and Solar Project Development at Hanwha Energy since December 2021, where responsibilities include solar and energy storage system project development, power trading, and electricity sales. Prior to this, Daehyun was involved in LNG business development and project management for the Hailan LNG Project in Vietnam at Hanwha Energy. Previous roles include Trader at STX Corporation, where commodity trading and business development were key focuses, and Marketing Manager at Korea Gas Corporation, successfully managing the marketing of over 30 crude oil cargoes valued over $2 billion. Additional experience includes serving as an International Cooperation Officer at the Korea National Defense University and as an Army Captain in the Republic of Korea Army. Daehyun holds a Ph.D. candidacy in Future Energy Convergence from Seoul National University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in International Business from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Korea Military Academy.
