Yang Yue

Yang Yue is an experienced data science professional with a strong technical background. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Twill since July 2019, Yang directs a team in developing MLOps, recommendation systems, and NLP features, while establishing machine learning infrastructure on Azure. Previously, as a Data Scientist, a notable achievement includes leading the deployment of a multi-task multilingual language model for the Taylor chatbot, enhancing language support across 100+ languages. Yang's earlier experience includes a data science internship at Argus Research, where a rule-based anomaly detection algorithm was developed, and founding Eviion LLC, which designed a scheduling app for college students. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Statistics from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management from Penn State University.
