Luis Tueme has extensive work experience in operations management, particularly in the food industry. Luis served as the VP of Operations at Harbar, where they led change management processes to prepare the organization for growth. Luis implemented various processes, such as MRP and WMS systems and introduced lean manufacturing methods. Luis also played a key role in selecting a location for a secondary manufacturing facility.

Prior to Harbar, Luis held the position of VP of Operations at Simply Goodies LLP. Here, they directed manufacturing activities and integrated a plant into another facility. Luis standardized product specifications, strengthened the HACCP plan, and implemented new product introduction procedures. Luis also played a role in implementing a distribution model in a distribution center, adding numerous new skus. The company was acquired by Elamex - Sunrise Confections during their tenure.

Luis has also worked at Mission Foods/GRUMA Corp for a significant period of time as the VP of Manufacturing NW.

Luis Tueme obtained an Executive Certificate in Developing a Leading Edge Operations Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Food Science at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1983 to 1987.
