Sofia Gertsberg

Sofia Gertsberg serves as Managing Director and Principal of Quant Investment Science at HarbourVest Partners since April 2016. Previously, Gertsberg held the position of Global Head of Investment Risk for Fixed Income and Money Market Funds at State Street Global Advisors from 2011 to March 2016, and before that, worked as Director of Quantitative Analysis at The Debt Exchange from 2005 to 2011. Additional experience includes roles as Vice President of Market Risk at State Street Global Advisors, a Quantitative Economist at CoStar Portfolio Strategy, and involvement in Quant Portfolio Lending at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Gertsberg earned an MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University between 2001 and 2003.
