We are currently seeking a motivated, detailed, self-starting Pipe-fitter who desires to join a successful organization of seasoned construction professionals in the Birmingham, AL area. Candidates should be comfortable in their written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities, be well organized, and have a strong aptitude for follow-through. Some traveling is required for this position.

Responsibilities        

  • Follow company safety policies
  • Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Piping knowledge of VAV’s and Air Handling units.
  • Carbon steel, Sweat and Solder Copper.
  • Be willing to learn and take direction.
  • Leading a welder and small Crew is a Plus
  • Be willing and able to travel.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Be able to identify material for piping systems
  • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.

 Qualification

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • ​Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
