David Nesbitt has a diverse work history that spans over two decades. David started their career as a Credit Analyst at NRMA Finance Ltd in 1996, where they later transitioned into the role of Credit Team Leader. During their time at NRMA Finance Ltd, David also worked as a Business Analyst, overseeing process re-engineering and system improvement projects.
In 2001, David joined Flexigroup, initially starting as a Senior Credit Analyst before progressing to roles such as Credit Team Leader, Business Analyst, and Manager of Credit Policy, Process & Infrastructure. In 2012, they became the Head of Credit Underwriting at FlexiGroup Ltd, where they managed and supervised credit operations.
In 2013, David joined FlexiGroup Ltd as the Head of Consumer Credit, overseeing consumer credit initiatives. David later joined Harmoney Ltd in 2014 as the Chief Risk Officer, where they played a vital role in establishing the company as the largest online personal lending platform in Australia and New Zealand.
Throughout their career, David has gained extensive experience in risk management, credit analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.
David Nesbitt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics from the University of Sydney from 1990 to 1995. In 2006, they attended SAS Australia and undertook a course in SAS Fast Track Fundamentals and Programming. In 2010, they also participated in a program at SAS Australia specializing in Advanced Programming and Enterprise Guide.
