Description:

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to oversee a segment of our Cloud Cost Management Engineering team. This team will be spread across various locations. The ideal candidate should have substantial backend development experience with Java or Go. We’re looking for someone energetic, passionate about startups, adept at navigating unstructured environments, and committed to driving results.

About the Role:

  • Over 3 years of experience in leading a high-performing engineering team with both technical and people management responsibilities.
  • More than 5 years of experience in developing SaaS applications with a focus on backend development (Java/Go). A true builder at heart.
  • Active hands-on experience in design and architecture.
  • Proven track record of creating and leading high-functioning teams.
  • Experience working with teams and clients across different time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to address and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage project timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

About You:

  • Take full ownership of the technology stack, including architecture, development, deployment, maintenance, and operation of the application in a production environment.
  • Evaluate code from other engineers, providing constructive feedback to maintain best practices, including style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Develop and refine the technical vision and roadmap for your team(s), managing multiple teams as needed.
  • Adjust the roadmap to meet future demands and infrastructure needs.
  • Lead the design, validation, and assessment of system architectures,
  • Customer first mindset
  • Skilled at navigating various products and domains through collaboration and a curious mindset.

Work Location

Bangalore. The successful candidate will be expected to be in the Bangalore office 3x / week.
