John Zappola

John Zappola is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in corporate finance and accounting. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President Deputy CFO at HarperCollins Publishers since July 2005, John is involved in all facets of the Office of the CFO, including reporting and compliance, and plays a key role in major M&A activities. Previously, John held various financial management positions at News Corp, where contributions included supervising budgeting, rebuilding financial systems, and establishing a new Magazine Division. Earlier career experience includes a position as Senior Accountant at Deloitte, where John managed auditing and financial reporting for diverse clients. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John's University.
