The Harrisburg Heat, professional indoor soccer team,  is the only first-tier professional sports team in the South Central PA region.  The Heat's home venue is at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, Large Arena and was recently acquired by a new owner, Carl Delmont, CEO of Freedmont Mortgage.  A member of the newly-formed Indoor Professional League (IPL), The Heat's new owner is focusing on upping the game for the players,  improving the fan experience and chasing post-season wins.  With several high profile celebrity appearances and full schedule of entertainment throughout the season, The Heat wants to grow the fan base and become a go-to fun activity in the region.
