Cristina Carvalho has a diverse range of work experience in various roles over the years. Cristina began their career at Solvay Fluorides, Inc. in 1996 as Import Administrative Assistant, and later joined Pechiney World Trade, Inc. as an Import/Traffic Coordinator in 1998. In 1999, they became an Import/Export Coordinator at Dansk Promotional Corp, and then served as Traffic Manager, Import/Export at Sterling Promotional Corp from 2002 to 2005. Cristina founded and served as the President of Horizon Mind, Body & Spiritual Wellness, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Carvalho then joined Sotheby's Inc. as the Assistant Vice President, Head of Shipping Department from 2006 to 2011. Cristina later worked at Sojitz Corporation of America as the Associate Director of Trade Compliance, Logistics & Supply Chain Security from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Global Sr. Director, Logistics, Trade Compliance and Vault Operations at Harry Winston since December 2014.
Cristina Carvalho holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Sacred Heart University. Cristina has also obtained additional certifications in various areas including Coaching: A Strategic Tool for Effective Leadership from the American Management Association, Executive Leadership from the American Management Association, Hazardous Materials Certification IATA, IMDG and 49 CFR from Unz & Co., OSHA Compliance from Fred Pryor Seminars and CareerTrack, and US Export Controls & Defense Trade Controls from the Export Compliance Training Institute, Inc.
