Alani Goins

Alani Goins is currently a Summer School Program Proctor at Harvard Summer School, responsible for mentoring students and facilitating community activities. As Treasurer of the Harvard Black Students Association, Alani manages the organization's budget and oversees fundraising efforts. Additionally, Alani is the Founder of The Butterfli Effect, an organization addressing period poverty in South Phoenix by distributing feminine product kits. Alani serves as a Tour Guide and Hometown Recruiter for Harvard University, promoting the institution to high school students. Previous experiences include coaching for Special Olympics, interning at Hampstead Psychoanalytic Institute, volunteering with ABA Therapy LLC, and serving as Outreach Coordinator for March for Our Lives Phoenix. Alani is pursuing a degree at Harvard University, having completed an International Baccalaureate program and a high school diploma from Betty Fairfax High School.
