Jayson Toweh

Jayson U. Toweh, SM, MBA, CPH, is a doctoral researcher at Stanford University in the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources, collaborating with faculty in the School of Medicine and Geophysics department. Serving on the Board of Overseers at Harvard University, Jayson consults on university strategy while managing academic departments. Jayson also mentors students at Polygence and Lumiere Education, guiding independent research projects. In 2024, Jayson will be a fellow with the Climate and Community Project, focusing on inclusive energy efficient home repair programs. Previous roles include Climate Justice Fellow at Sustainable Stanford, America is All In Fellow at Second Nature, consultant at The World Bank addressing climate-related health impacts, and community mobilizer for Stacey Abrams for Governor. Jayson holds a PhD in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, a Master of Science in Environmental Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MBA, and a bachelor’s degree in the Program in the Environment from the University of Michigan.
