Blaine Chrysler has extensive work experience in the field of production accounting in the oil and gas industry. Blaine began their career in 1989 at Encana Corporation, where they started as a financial accountant before transitioning into oil and gas accounting. At Encana Corporation, Blaine performed various financial functions and eventually worked on production accounting for heavy oil and gas properties.
Blaine then joined Enerplus in 2003 as a production and revenue accountant, where they handled the full cycle of production accounting for different oil and gas operated properties.
After that, Blaine worked at Provident Energy Ltd. from 2006 to 2008 as a team lead, responsible for leading a team of production accountants and overseeing production accounting reporting using Prism P.A.
Following their time at Provident Energy Ltd., they joined Sinopec Canada in 2008 and served as a group lead in production accounting. In this role, they provided guidance and mentorship to the team and assisted with P.A.
Most recently, Blaine worked at Harvest Operations Corp. from 2017 to their retirement in July 2022. Blaine held the position of senior production accountant and team lead in the production accounting department. Blaine provided leadership and mentoring to a team of six staff members and performed various duties, including Metrix P., determining oil sands royalty payments, and monthly government reporting for heavy oil projects.
Throughout their career, Blaine Chrysler has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in production accounting, and a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry.
Blaine Chrysler obtained an Accounting Diploma in 1989 from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). Blaine completed the 5th Level Certified Management Accountant program and specialized in Accounting and Finance during their education at NAIT.
