Curtis Mewbourne

Curtis Mewbourne is an Investor and Founder of Mewbourne Capital, LLC. He has over 30 years of experience investing in financial markets. Previously, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at PIMCO in Newport Beach, CA, where he managed investment accounts for institutional investors and mutual funds. Prior to that, he was a bond trader at Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers in New York and London. He was nominated for Morningstar Fixed Income Manager of the Year and won six Lipper Awards for Best Mutual Fund Performance. Curtis served as a Trustee or Director at the Ethel Walker School, the Nightingale Bamford School, and the PIMCO Foundation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a Fellow at Stanford University in the Distinguished Careers Institute Program. Curtis is an avid private pilot and enjoys surfing, skiing, mountain biking, yoga, scuba diving, and travel.
