Ziyang Zhang is a seasoned software engineer and engineering manager with extensive experience in developing customer-facing web applications and proprietary backend systems. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Haven Life since June 2017, Ziyang focuses on technologies such as NodeJS, Angular, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, and Postgres to enhance business processes for clients. Previously, Ziyang held a Principal Software Engineer position at Charles River Development, contributing to industry-leading trading platforms. Earlier career milestones include roles at ITG and ESP Technologies, where Ziyang co-developed innovative trading-cost-saving software that earned a US patent. Ziyang holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Syracuse University, a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and a Double Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
